The Treasure Chest Family Sale is a seasonal consignment sale in Rocky Mount, NC. Spring 2014 was our inaugural sale and we were thrilled to help shoppers find great bargains and consignors earn extra money!
Our 7,000+ square foot sales floor is organized and full of children’s, men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, & accessories. Everything from play clothes to Boutique Brands, baby blankets to soccer cleats, board books to board games, high chairs to bicycles, the variety is extraordinary! Quality and selection is our focus at The Treasure Chest.
Being a stay-at-home mom to 3 very active young boys, I recognize and appreciate the value that is found in locally-run consignment sales. Not only are we saving money, but we are reusing and recycling and looking GREAT while doing it! I spent 2 years volunteering with other consignment sales so that I would know what works and what doesn’t work when running a consignment sale. Now, my sons love to come out and “help” at our sales – and I love for them to experience our family working together. My husband is my IT guy – and he keeps our computers and software ready to go. My extended family, including my mom, brothers, sisters-in-law, and a few long-time family friends complete my “team”; they help with set-up, break-down, check-out, and child care.
For each sale, we choose a worthy beneficiary to receive ALL ticket sales from our pre-sale, held on the day before the sale officially opens. In the past, our beneficiaries have been NC BEGINNINGS (an advocacy group for NC’s kids who are deaf or hard-of-hearing); the family of a local fallen Law Enforcement Officer; an inspirational young lady who graduated with honors, volunteered innumerable hours, and went to ECU all while battling a brain tumor; a local mom going through her second round with breast cancer; and a US Veteran who received a purple heart during his time of service. We are always accepting nominations for beneficiaries for our next sale. We ask that the person or group be 100% local to Nash/Edgecombe/Rocky Mount.
